A barometer I use to determine how simple an idea is presented, is how easily a broad range of people can understand it. When I was involved in public policy formulation and implementation, it was important that most people could understand our messages and know what to do.
One way to test for this, is to explain the ideas to your parents or grandparents, or to young children. Or to explain in a less familiar language or dialect. If they can get the idea easily, you are almost there!
And so, I’m excited that Sesame Street is producing a new series to teach life lessons to young kids.
